good neighbor was established on the concept of recreating the feeling of stepping into a loved one’s home. At good neighbor, every object, every sip, and every bite exists to inspire and nurture curiosity about the wider world and its shared community. good neighbor was founded in 2019 by Shawn Chopra and his wife, Anne Morgan, with the goal of a seamless, multi-touchpoint retail concept built around combining a shared love of design with their immigrant culture of abundant hospitality. good neighbor goes above and beyond for their guests in all areas; food & drink—anticipating and curating the needs of each guest; retail—fostering awareness and education around our brand partners’ thoughtful products; and as a community-led ‘third space’— sparking creativity and conversation around art, design, fashion, music, and film. In the summer of 2023, good neighbor opened its newest concept: guesthouse, a hotel that further expands upon the values that began in the shop and is the full realization of the concept of staying in good neighbor's home.
